About Kezra

Creativity has always been a part of my life and is what brought me to the field of design. My parents are both musicians, which encouraged my interest in a creative field and also planted the seed for my passion of music today.

Honesty and action are important to me when it comes to work. I always provide a bluntly truthful opinion and enjoy the constructive debate that can come from it. My pragmatism is helpful when we are executing a project, but sometimes I need to be pushed to dream outside of feasible solutions. My demeanor is usually calm under pressure and I’ve learned reflecting on things is just as important as doing those things in the first place.

In the next phase of my career, I’d like to practice more of the design research and design thinking methods I studied in grad school. Learning and being challenged is a critical component of my career growth as a young practitioner. I am looking to expand my leadership opportunities to lead teams and manage junior designers as well.
